new to boards!
i have been on the SBD for almost 3 weeks now. my hubby and i both
started it together, which makes adhering to it easier since we plan
our meals together. he lost 13 pounds in 2 weeks, i did not get
weighed, as i can become a slave to the scale, but can tell i have
lost at least 10 as i have gone down a size already. he has moved up
3 notches on his belt already.
we are both feeling great, and just like the book says - we have no
craving for the starches, sweets we are not eating. in phase 1 we did
not sway from what was prescribed one bit. in phase 2 we are not
eating anything that is not on the list. we love the roll-up
sandwiches, and are eating nuts as snacks. i am glad that we can
incorporate some fruits back into our plan as this was something
healthy that we missed.
in the past, many times i would skip breakfast and even lunch, and
then pretty much eat sweets and junk food the rest of the day. at
times i wasnt even hungry for dinner on these occasions. i now make
sure i am eating my 3 meals a day, and 2 snacks, plus dessert. also
drinking lots of water. feeling great and energized.
