HI

Hi everyone!
I am new to the SBD. I have just finished reading the book and I
plan on doing my shopping this weekend and starting the diet on
Saturday or Sunday.
I have tried them all. I did Atkins once but got sick on it and had
to stop. I’ve been on weight watchers and have only gained weight.
I know that I am totally addicted to carbs and sugar. I have chronic
headaches and am hoping that getting off the sugar will help with
that as well. I need to loose about 50lbs….my clothes no longer
fit an I refuse to buy a new wardrobe the next size up…this has to
work!
I look forward to getting to know yall better!

    beach diet, and it seems like
    something I would like to try,I have never been on a diet before, and I would
    like to know what kind of books or cook books would work
    well for a “diet amatuer” Like myself, If someone could help that would be great

    my name is nancy. im 48. i had a stroke 6 yrs ago. which made me more
    sedintary. even though i have no real lasting effects except fatigue.
    i havent felt well for a long time. the results of which are higher
    than high blood pressure, obesity, and even more fatigue. ive known
    for awhile ive needed to make changes but have put it off alot. it
    came home to me tues. i took a eight hour trip round trip when i got
    off work. and was so exhausted that i was ill for 3 days. i went to
    the dr tues. she told me to lose weight, and walk 1 hour a day. she
    gave me a different blood pressure pill. when i was 20 i had my
    thyroid destroyed with radiation so weight loss has always been a
    problem since then. but i was always a sixe 12 til i got pregnant with
    my last child( ive had 5 pregnancys.) i gained 100 lbs and have
    struggled for the last 15 yrs to get it off. i am at my biggest right
    now. im 5′5 and 250. this group seems like just what i need. i hope to
    help and encourage you all also in your weight loss goals. i would
    even upload a beginning pic. but i dont know how.well, thats it for
    now, just thought i should introduce myself and tell you a little
    about myself……..nancy
