New To Group

Hi there. I am considering starting the SBD. I plan to pick up the
book this weekend. I was wondering if I could get some feedback
(positive & negative) about this plan. I have tried everything else
without success. I would like to lose about 25 lbs. by Memorial
Day. Is this realistic? How difficult is this plan to learn and
apply to everyday life? I am a busy working mom of 2, constantly on
the go. I am hoping that this plan will work for me.

    I do have a question for the more experienced in the group:
    I can’t stand to drink a ton of water every day. I used to drink a lot of diet
    sodas and I
    do drink plain water but in very small amounts but I don’t like plain water when
    I’m
    not thirsty. What about something like Crystal Light, or Wylers Light
    lemonade? I really like that stuff…they’re both sugar free and I usually
    dilute it more
    than the directions say. Every packet makes 2 quarts and I usually add 3 quarts
    of
    water instead.
    Is there anything that would do damage to the first two weeks of the diet?

    I an interested in trying this diet. I am a weight lifter and the
    last time I lost alot of weight I lost alot of my strength. I am
    6′4″ tall and weigh 265 pounds. My ideal weight would be about 240-

    Have a lot of health issues, and therefore was referred by my
    dr/nutritionist to do this diet. Wondering a little bit about this
    group.

    hello all-
    i’m a 26yo working mom of 2 who just started the beach and thought i
    would join a group for some added support. i eventually would like to
    lose 63lbs to get to my “ideal” weight however i have set some short
    term goals as well (some old jeans i would *love* to wear again,
    getting down to just one chin (lol)). i would love to hear from other
    moms of young kids (mine are 2 and 5) about incorporating your new
    lifestyle with theirs.
