New to SBD
Hi Everyone,
I am new to this group and joined because my boyfriend and I are about to start the SBD. I have a question about phase 1.
It says we can have vegetables. Are all vegetables allowed, like corn, peas and beans? I know those 3 are carb high and often not considered among the veggie group.
If anyone can answer this and/or has any advise about getting started, I look forward to feedback.
Thanks in advanced,
Jen

Corn is a no-no because of the sugar content. Some beans are better than others. You should still be able to find a list of acceptable foods at the Prevention.com website by doing a search for South Beach Diet.

I am brand new to the SBD — this is day 2. I need to lose 4-5 stubborn pounds.
I was HUNGRY yesterday. Granted, I didn’t follow the SBD exactly!!! I awakened shaky this morning. At this rate, I am going to give up on SBD.
