New here and a bit confused

I am on day 2 of Phase 1 and am a little confused about something. I
have done Suzanne Somers, Atkins and Schwarzbein (all with varying
levels of success) and the thing that confuses me about this diet is
why he wants you to use low-fat milk and cheese when we all know
that cream and whole cheese has less carbs in it. Actually, none of
the 3 mentioned above even allow milk since it is so high in carbs.
I have done enough research to know that so far, scientists don’t
think that whole cheese and cream do anything bad to your body. I
was also really shocked to see that he recommends using I Can’t
Believe Its Not Butter. That seems like an awful lot of chemicals
to me–aren’t we better off eating food in its whole, natural state?
Don’t get me wrong, this diet sounds really good and I love the
Phases 2 and 3. I just don’t think it is necessary to do the whole
low-fat thing–I know you can do the cream, butter and regular
cheese and still lose plenty of weight (my dh has lost 45 lbs on
Atkins eating all of these). Any insights??

    Hi there,
I just completed the first week of phase I and am really sick of it.
I am situated in Germany and the food items recommended are rather
expensive and are also not even available in germany, i.e. butter
substitute. Also, having two little children I cannot really afford
cooking three meals a day and also prepare different meals for my
children. Tuna salad just doesn’t do it for a 1 1/2 year old.
Anyway, my question is: I would like to start weight Watchers now
(which I have been very successful with before, but am really afraid
that I will gain the weight I lost in the first week. Does anyone
    have experience with this?
Thanks a lot for any recommendation.
