It isn’t working! Help!

This is the first formal diet I have ever tried. I like it. While all of
the time it takes to prepare food is challenging I don’t find eating
this was to be difficult. I have followed it and not strayed once. I
was a little dissapointed because I only lost 6 1/2 lbs. in Phase I
and the book said that the average loss is 8-13.
Now I’m on my first week of Phase II and I’ve gained one pound
back. I have not added in all the carbs allowed in Phase II. I
only changed breakfast to Uncle Sam’s and fruit. That’s it. I don’t
even eat the snacks sometimes.
It’s working for my husband, so I don’t know why it’s not working
for me. Any ideas?
