New and questioning

Hi. I am too a “was WW” lol. I pleatued for a year after having
lost 80 pounds. Thats a lot of weight I know, but I am a supersized
person. Which leads me to my first question. Can a person lose more
than 150 pounds on this diet?
The reasons it has appealed to me, as an anti Atkins person, is that
I can have veggies!!!! I have tried the diet on for a meal here and
a meal there and I am stuffed and I dont feel bloated. Atkins turned
me off on his all you can eat artey clogging buffet. My brother and
father both had massive success on it though, so I know there is
something to it, but I don’t believe stuffing yourself on a dozen
eggs and a pound of bacon for breakfast is something I could deal
with. So here I am. Writing to you, SDBers.
The reason I am giving this diet that has been labeled a trend, any
chance at all, is I am 92% sure I have PSOC. I was reading an
article and wouldn’t you know I have every single symptom. It is
also linked with insulent resistance (which my father is). They
recommend a low carb diet. SBD seems to make the most sense out of
all of them to me, but I’m scared.
All I ever had success on is WW. Now I am being told I won’t be
hungry? how is that possible?
Anyhow….can really big people have success with this too?
