Newbie!

Hello to all! I am new to this group but have been on this diet for
30 weeks…. very long! In the first two weeks I lost 14 pounds then
lost 3 pounds the next week and 2 the next…. I then stalled out for
5 weeks. I then broke my foot a couple weeks later and lost 5
pounds, I am guessing it’s the muscle to fat ratio from lack of
walking and excersizing. My grandparents came to visit and I
endulged myself a little and gained 5 pounds back, I also started
walking a little….
After they left my mom and I went back on phase 1 and still didn’t
lose anything… I don’t understand why I can’t lose anymore weight.
Just wondering if anyone else is having or has had the same thing
happen to them…
I go back to my orthopedic surgeon this week and hopefully he says I
can go back to the gym… which I hope will rev my metabolism up and
burn those extra pounds back off….
Some say I might not be able to lose anymore because I am at my ideal
weight but I have been 10 pounds lighter at this height and just
don’t get it…. Sorry I am a little dicouraged today!! I am 5′8″
and started at 148 and want to get down to at least 125. I would
appreciate any comments!! Thanks!

    ello everyone!! I hope all is well for everyone… I thought I
    posted this alreay, but I don’t see it, so I apologize in advance if
    this shows up twice!
    Anyhow, I am in my 30 week of the SBD. I have lost 20 pounds and
    would like to lose 5 more. I lost 14 pounds in the first two weeks
    then lost nothing for five weeks, then lost a little after that. 8
    weeks ago I broke my foot and could no longer work out… However I
    lost an additional 5 pounds, I think it was the muscle turning to fat
    because I couldn’t walk. Anyways, I have started walking again and
    put back on the 5 pounds. My grandparents also came to visit and I
    ate a little extra while they were up. But after they left I went
    back on phase 1 and didn’t lose anything.
    I am just a little frustrated because I can’t seem to lose anything
    and I am starting to feel more hungry now. I hope to start going
    back to the gym this week…I go to my doctor on Thursday…. so
    hopefully by going back to the gym I will lose those pounds… But if
    not I just wonder Is it Really Worth It???
    By the way I am 5′8″ and weighed 148 and would like to be 125… I
    have been as lite as 120 so I know I can do it!!!

    Hi my name is Laura and I am starting the SBD today. I tried it once
    before and lost 8 pounds in two weeks, but ended up falling off the
    wagon. Anyone have any helpful tips to stay with it?
