Subscribing and unsubscribing
Hello Joyce,
The last digest discussed joining the online site, and I recall you
saying to Karen, it was worth it for a while and then when enough was
learned, one can leave.
I once ordered a skin product from Guthy Renker (called Proactiv) from
an infomercial and have had such trouble unsubbing (I hadn’t realised
they would automatically deliver this product every 2 months!) . I
*think* they’ve finally stopped, but it took almost a year to get
unsubbed and they had my credit card number. Since then, I’ve been
afraid to join any online thing. I belong to Dietwatch and enjoy it, but
am concerned that if /when I decide to unsub it could be the big run
around again. No email address available for unsubbing.
So was getting out of it truly easy, I’m wondering? Did you find the
site reputable in that sense?
