Excellent resource for new recipes

Tuesday, December 7th, 2004

I just thought I’d throw out an additional diet resource that my
family has found to be excellent. We’ve been following the South
Beach Diet for almost a year now with good results and in our search
for some new recipes, we came across a cookbook that has recipes
that fit the South Beach very well. The cookbook is called “The
Best Nutritional Recipes from the Kitchen of Zone Idaho”. If anyone
is looking for some excellent recipes, you might check them out. We
found their website at: zoneidaho.com

new couple, hunger pangs

Saturday, December 4th, 2004

Hi, we’re 11 days into phase one. We’re sticking to the diet quite
well but we get hunger pangs after dinner up until bedtime. All the
advertisements said there wouldn’t be any. Anyone else hungry after
dinner?

Stoping by to say Hello…

Just wanted to stop in and say hi and introduce myself. I have been
on SB for 3 days and doing well, so far. I have been reading the
posts and have gotten a lot of helpful info and wanted to thank
whoever thought of the idea to have a group board to help us stay on
track and find new ideas to keep the SB lifestyle going. On the
completion of day 1 i had finally broke the plateau that I was
holding on for the last couple of months. I have been killing myself
with exercise and was not motivated to go on anymore. I haven’t been
exercising for fear of plateauing again since I know my calorie
intake is probably way low. I am not hungry but do get late night
cravings that I have been able to avoid, thank God. I will start to
incorporate my WATP tapes with Leslie (without weights) to get some
form of movement in daily, especially since I sit at a desk all day.
I think once I move to ph 2 i will incorporate my wieghts again.
Again, just wanted to say thanks again for the wealth of knowledge
that didn’t come with the book.
