hi ladies,
its me again with some more questions, OK have you lost any weight
when you are bf. well I’m still carrying 20 pounds extra. i don’t
eat less or more what am i doing wrong. yes i know i might just be
keeping the 20 pounds to have a good supply. but i see mothers at
their 6 week visit have lost the baby fat plus more. i have been
doing taebo 3 times a week i cant walk around the block since its
cold and snow storms. I’m thinking of trying the Atkins diet or the
south beach. but I’m not sure how they work. also if I’m still 2o
pound over why can i fit my pregnancy clothes. my baby is 5 months
now.

Well, i bought the book, and i was looking for support on SBD, so i
found this group which i think is gonna help me alot.
My goal is to loose 20lbs,. that’s it so far, but for me it is so
hard and i really want to do it, no matter what, it’s for my health
and my body…so…
I did the first two weeks, no sugars at all…but since i had a
surgery …(a simple one)…i ate anything infront of me…
Like..cokes….KfriedChicken,…..mashpotatoe…
but in small portions..still
What I was thinking, is that probably i can continue without starting
all over again with the first 2 weeks.
I cheated for friday night,…sat, sun, and mon…
now it’s tuesday…and i was planning to continue the diet…
Please…help me out, what do you guys think…
My weight? 140lbs…
I want to be 120…so…

Newbie question…about Carbdown Flatout bread

Hi. Bought some Carbdown Flatout bread today and am wondering if it
is ok on the SBD? It has 15g Fiber / 24g Carb / 0g Sugar 100 cal?
How do I figure out if it is ok to eat?
Please help.

Hi. I bought some bread but am not sure if I can eat it or not. It
is the Flatout Carbdown original bread.
It has 110 cal/3g Fat/15gFiber/ 0g Sugar / Total Carb 24g
Does anyone know what the guideline is? Please help!

Hey Everyone-
This is my first time posting. I was so happy to find groups with so
many other South Beachers!!
My question is, does anyone know when the line of South Beach Kraft
foods will be available in stores?
I don’t normally like to eat prepackaged foods, but having a few
around will help when i’m at school or work all day.

Newbie to this group

Hi, my name is Jeri. I have been on sbd since Monday. This is day
6 for me. I have lost 7 pounds, none the past 2 days tho. I am
keeping track of my waist measurement also and have been losing a
little there so I’m happy.
I bought the food for next week of phase 1. I really am alright
with phase 1. I thought that watching my daughter eat fries or
popcorn in front of me would bother me but it hasn’t!
I hope to meet some new friends that are going thru the same
things I am and we can share our experiences.

wow….day 3 of phase 1

Hi everyone!!
I haven’t posted here in a really long time, but I did the south
beach diet about 6 months ago and lost 10 lbs in just a few weeks.
Then I somehow got sidetracked and ended up off of it. I didn’t go
crazy with carbs and fat though…still watched what I ate. I kept
the ten pounds off , but I am still about 30 pounds away from my
goal weight. Since I KNOW without a doubt that this diet works and
that it is not difficult to keep the weight off….I am back at it
here in the new year. Today, I am starting day 3 of Phase 1 and I
am alread down 3 1/2 pounds after only 2 days on the diet. The
South Beach Diet and Dr. A ROCK!!! I really haven’t even had any
strong cravings…although I am looking forward to Phase 2 and the
reintroduction of FRUIT!! That is the thing I miss most in Phase
1. I can live without the bread, pasta, rice, sugar, etc….but I
MISS my fruit!!!
