rapid weight loss?
Has anyone experienced rapid weight loss on this diet? Do people lose
weight rapidly at first then it tapers off? I’m asking because I started
the diet last Friday and as of this morning’s weigh-in, I have lost 9 lbs.
I will probably lose another pound by tomorrow morning’s weigh-in.
I figure my body’s just dealing with the loss of starch, grain and fruit and
that once I go to phase 2 the weight will drop more slowly. Is this true?
I was going to stay on phase 1 until I lost 25 lbs. then go to phase 2 to
lose the other 25 that I want to lose.
Of course, this is because summer is coming and I’d like to try for a
two-piece this year instead of the black, one-piece that I’ve been wearing
for years.

I lost almost nothing in phase 1, very discouraged, but I knew it was
a much healthier way of eating than my usual alternative. Lost a
little faster after that.
DO NOT stay on phase 1 till you lose 25 lbs unless you have more than
100 total to lose. It’s not well-balanced enough for long-term use.
I promise you that you can lose weight on phase 2!

For comparison purposes I was 50 lb overweight and lost 8 lbs in phase
I, anonther 17 so far in phase II so I’m half way there. I started
last September.
