Hi, I am a day away from Phase II and was wondering if there is
a “good” cereal to eat and stay on the plan?

Also there is a low carb version of Special K. And I like Barbara’s
Shredded Wheat.

I make all my hot cereal on Sunday and then just nuke a bowl for the
week and add 1/2 cup plain nonfat yogurt to lighten it. I cook steel-
cut oats, 10-grain cereal, kashi - a variety of different cereals so
I can switch off each day.
I also keep a box of Uncle Sam on the shelf for emergencies, but so
far, I haven’t even opened it.
Spoon-sized shredded wheat met the guidelines, but it triggered
cravings and hunger (too bad; that was always my favorite), so I had
to throw that out. So you’ll have to experiment!
