had to go off the diet on day 5 because of feeling ill

Hi, I am kind of depressed. I followed the diet plan strictly, drank
lots of water. Yesterday at work I began to feel lightheaded and a
little disoriented. I began to get a strong metallic taste in my
mouth. I did some research and the metallic taste meant I was in
ketosis which is not supposed to happen. How can it not happen
though. I went over the phase 1 food list and it seems to me that it
is almost no carbs. Today I really blew it. I just ate some
chocolate eggs. Oh well. I guess I will try phase 2 because I don’t
think I can handle phase 1. Anyone else go into ketosis?
