Question about Dairy
Hello,
It’s a while since I read the book and on this list have heard of so
many changes made by Dr Agaston, so I’d greatly appreciate it if someone
could re-clarify some info regarding dairy on the different phases.
I had initially understood phase 1 to contain lean protein meats, eggs,
and low starch veggies for carbs. NO fruit, NO dairy. And 10 nuts per day.
Thanks in advance,
Suzan

Hello fellow members,
Please forgive me if someone has answered my question, but I have been
checking each digest looking for an answer and not seen one. So here
goes again.
I read the book last year and know that there are changes that have been
made regarding certain foods. However I do not recall what they are,
exactly.
Can anyone explain to me the dairy that can be used in phases 1, 2 and
3, as of this date?
My understanding of phase 1 is lean protein, no fruit, no
grains/starches, no fruit, all non-starchy veggies, but that regarding
dairy we can use the skim milk mozarella sticks, the Light laughing cow
cheese, and reduced fat Ricotta. Am I correct? Is so, why do some
people say we can only use NonFat products. I have seen both marketed
now as SBD (non fat and low fat).
And when can we have cheeses like parmesan? cheddar, etc.
I would really appreciate it if someone can clarify this for me. I
*think* I asked this question within the last week, but maybe somehow it
didn’t appear in the group!
Thank you,
Suzan
