Hello everyone. You have a very nice board here! Anywho, I need to ask
a question. I have done Atkins and I done great on it but just couldnt
stay on it. I was a vegetarian for years and then I done Atkins and
started eating meat again. Well, down deep in my heart Im just not a
meat eater. So off Atkins I went. I would like to stay low carb but
find it very hard to do without getting board. My question is can I
do low carb South Beach or is it pretty much like Atkins??? Thanks for
your help in advance

I’m new here on the beach, hoping that this helps me to be willing to
show my face.
Right now at 28 i weigh around 240ish, i started this diet on Aug 1st
at 242, i’m still in my first phase.
I’ve done atkins before, so i keep kinda combining the two as to
limiting the carbs to 20ish, i dont kill myself to do so, and i’m not
upset when i go over by a few…because i know its ok with S.Beach.
I’m also working out 3 days a week minimum, i bought the Gunner
Peterson stability ball thingy…its kinda fun, and i’m not bugging my
downstairs neighbors by trying to climb up on things or jump around.
Wish me luck!!! ![]()

eating plans.
This is your invitation to come join us on that board. I have provided
the link to the site below. You will need to register in order to
post on the site, but registration is free.
so come enjoy the support of many low carb friends.

Hi all..very new to the SBD here, only begun this morning. As of now,
I’ve been rather confused on what is allowed and not recommended
through this diet plan.
A little info about me…and I can’t believe Imma share it..lol..but
20something, 3 young children (4, 3, &1) and about 30 lbs of post-baby
weight and mcdonalds to lose. I’m at 190, and would love to see 160.
I’d probably faint from joy if I actually saw 150. I’m 6′0″, so that’s
my goal weight. I’m in college full time for nursing, and that hasn’t
helped any, having only vending machines available for 8-10 hours at a
time.
Any help would be appreciated. Basically, all I know right now is no
carbs, no sugar, high protein. Is there an SBD for dummies? lol
Any help is appreciated, and advice is welcome!

I am new to the SB Diet, and this is my 5th day on Phase 1… I am
really interested in getting some variety for menu planning… I am
really glad I found my way here!
