Eatting good food: was RE: NEWBIE here - Lyne-Elizabeth

I have thought about this. I have learned a lot about eating since I started this program. One of the things that I learned before I did this is that if I don’t like the food then I wont want to eat it. So if none of the menu items appeal to you then look at the allowed list. Find some meat that you like. Then think about what you can do to make it compliant with the book.

For example, I buy chicken. Sprinkle some seasoning on it. Then add a salad and another vegetable. I like that meal. I look to the book for ideas and then eat what sounds good and is fairly compliant.

I don’t follow the meal plan, I pick a meat from the allowed list, and add vegetables from the list that will go with it.

I hear there’s a new cook book coming out soon. Maybe this will make things easier for you.

I’m following the meals in the book to the letter as well…I’m on day four of phase one. We have no food allergies and the only things we really don’t like are asparagus - spinach and eggplant…oh liver too. I consider this a lifestyle change as well, but it’s really hard when you are finding the food yucky! Thank you all for your help
