Loosing weight through Millet, Quinoa and Amarant.

I am Cristian from Denmark. I am new in this group. I teach people
about the Ayurveda diet in my country.
According to Ayurveda (The indian medicine system) Millet, Quinoa and
Amarant are light in quality - i.e. they do not create slime, mucus
and heaviness in the body like Rice and wheat do.
I doubt if it is possible at all to put on weight when eating these 3
types of grains even though they are high on the glycemic Index? I
myself are loosing weight. Any experience on that ?
