Salt solution
I’m not sure how many of you handle the salt problem. I have high blood pressure right now, so I have had to search for something to help the food taste better. I have a niece who is a doctor and who is diabetic herself. She found something for me that I’m sure you all know about, but for anyone who does not, here’s a real keeper!
Morton, the people who make salt, also make a salt substitute. It looks like the real salt shaker, but the stuff that’s in there is really potassium! And it tastes just like salt and flavors the food so well! Just check the label and you’ll see that it’s 0 sodium. I was cooking my omelet this morning and using it and I thought of all of you.
And the best part of my day? 2 more pounds gone! I’ve lost 13 so far and I’m doing the happy dance because at my last doctor appointment, he was trying to convince me that the only way I could get the weight off is surgery. No way. I’m not doing that. This diet is working so well! Even when I have a few bad days!

That is so awesome Claudia!
Love your cat signature.
I am so excited for you. Please keep us posted on your progress.
I am thinking that maybe I can “finish” losing right along with you as ou finish losing.
That’s probably about my speed (meaning that I’m slower than you) but
as long as I get there, then I’m okay with that. To weigh the least
I ever weighed as a relatively healthy adult I would have to lose 60 pounds right now.
But I am older and I only have slowly come to realize how ultra thin I was then….
so right now my first goal is 20 pounds, then probably another 20 and that should do it just right!
that will fit with what the health club told me was appropriate for my age about 5 years ago LOL
so I am probably allowed to even weigh a pound or two more now, but even factoring that in
I’ll bet they would say I have about 40 to lose now.
If I can lose my 40 in the time it takes for you to lose yours I would be so thrilled!
(since I will still be nursing my baby during much of that time and all, I realize
how important it is to go slowly but surely during the nursing process) (when you are
young the weight just falls off during the nursing process :), but hormones are funny things
and age does funny things to hormones! I am just glad I lost so well after the first baby.
i am ready to tackle these challenges…my second bundle is so worth it! and I lost weight
(no matter what I did trying not to) throughout the whole pregnancy, so its all good.
It’s been a joyful road and one I am still very excited to be going down.
I am going to start keeping you all posted on my progress I think
I can’t believe I have actually lost a little bit.
but this group of people seemes like people that I am going to be able to figure this out with!
