I’ve been on Phase 1 a couple of times to jump start my progress after
beeing on Phase 2. Have lost almost 35 lbs and I believe in SBD. The
key is to make the diet YOURS! Eat reasonable portions of the allowed
foods in order to keep yourself satisfied. Eat the foods you enjoy
and take time to prepare. I am on Phase 1 now and I have completely
eliminated caffeine and I am hardly ever hungry. (The first 3 days I
had headaches from caffeine withdrawl but now I am feeing great). The
word in weightloss circles is that caffeine stimulates the
appetite….and I certainly didn’t need that. Plus the high
consumption of proteins on the diet regulates blood sugar which keeps
hunger pangs in check. I eat 3 meals and 2-3 snacks daily. Good luck
and stay focused. This group is great so you are in the right spot
for motivation and support.
